Testimonials

“I've been seeing my therapist for a year and a half now, and I truly can’t express how grateful I am for the support and guidance she’s given me. We’ve been working on a variety of things, but one of the biggest breakthroughs for me has been with my social anxiety. She has provided me with tools and strategies that actually work. I find myself using them whenever I face situations that trigger my anxiety, and they genuinely help me stay grounded. What I appreciate most is that our sessions are a very safe, non-judgmental space where I can be completely honest and open. That sense of safety has made all the difference in my healing. I look forward to each session every week. They bring me comfort, clarity, and a feeling of progress. I'm truly thankful to have her walking alongside me on this journey.”

A Little About Me

My Practice
During my training, I gained expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and integrated insights from psychodynamic concepts. I primarily work with teenagers, adults, and the elderly, tailoring my approach to address the unique needs of each individual. Recognizing the complexity of human beings, I place a strong emphasis on the mind-body connection, seeing each client as a whole. I am also actively involved in research, focusing on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, and anxiety disorders, as well as their impact on identity and memory. This ongoing research deepens my understanding of human complexity, allowing me to continually refine my therapeutic practice with the latest insights. A phrase that can summarize my practice: "thrive amidst disorder."
What I'm Like
You can expect my authentic self in our sessions—eager to hear your story, empathetic and non-judgmental, with a calm demeanor. I get genuinely excited about your progress and might occasionally share a joke or a saying to lighten the mood. I often use real-life examples, metaphors, and anecdotes to help illustrate concepts. You might even receive book or movie recommendations to better understand the challenges we're addressing. I see therapy as a give-and-take relationship. As you take insights from our work together, I’ll also learn from your experiences, sharing this journey with you.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

Not all sessions will be the same, and that’s intentional. In some, you’ll find me more actively engaging in the discussion; in others, I’ll give you the space to explore and connect ideas freely. I always follow your rhythm but may gently nudge you when it’s needed. You can count on me to keep you gently on track as we work toward the goals we've set together. Some sessions may feel lighter than others, depending on the topics we’re tackling, but the most important thing is that all emotions and thoughts are welcome to flow freely. There’s no right or wrong way to approach your therapy—there’s only your approach, which I’ll always respect.

Our first session

Reaching out for help can be stressful, that’s why, from the moment you choose to connect with me, I do my best to make the process as comfortable as possible. Taking this step requires immense courage and I deeply respect that. Our first session is usually an introduction where I learn more about you and what led you to seek support. This conversation helps me gain a broader understanding of your situation, what’s troubling you, and what you hope to achieve. You'll also have the chance to learn about my practice and approach, and you can ask as many questions as you like! It’s an essential step for us to determine if we can embark on this journey together.
