A Little About Me

My Practice
My approach is client-centered, which means that your unique needs guide our sessions. I use an integrative method, drawing from psychodynamic, existential, and person-centered approaches, tailoring techniques to what works best for you in each situation. Therapy isn’t about rushing or giant leaps; you won’t wake up one day with everything magically fixed. Instead, it’s about creating a safe space where you can move at your own pace-exploring your emotions and core beliefs, and building the resilience necessary to address whatever you want or need to work on. In my practice, I’ve had the privilege of helping clients through difficult periods, supporting them as they build resilience and create meaningful change. Whether you're facing anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, challenges in interpersonal relationships, or navigating life as an expat, I’m here to support you.
What I'm Like
As someone who has spent a significant part of my life living as an expat in different cultures, I bring a unique perspective to my work: intercultural sensitivity, flexibility, and an openness to different ways of living and being. Before becoming a therapist, I built a successful career in an office setting, but I soon realized my true passion lay in helping others, which led me to pursue therapy. I am deeply non-judgmental and attentive to each person's core being. Therapy, for me, is a partnership where we explore your strengths, address challenges, and foster your growth. While I provide guidance and support, my ultimate aim is to empower you to take ownership of your journey and discover what works best for you.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

You can expect an active partnership, where you feel heard and supported, yet also challenged to explore new perspectives and ways of thinking. I also understand that not everyone always feels ready to be proactive. If you’re feeling low on energy, motivation, or unsure about going further - that’s okay too. Sometimes, the first step is simply listening, relaxing, and taking a moment to breathe. I work to understand the context of your life, including how your background and environment influence your experiences and challenges. I am trilingual and offer sessions in English, Russian, and Italian, so you can feel comfortable expressing yourself in the language that resonates most with you.

Our first session

My goal is to understand what brings you in and to get a sense of what you're hoping to achieve through our work. I’ll ask two key questions: What brings you to therapy? What would be the ideal result of our work together? These questions help me understand your current challenges, your goals, and your vision for change. I like to offer a plan or at least a clear trajectory by the end of our initial session, outlining what we could work on together in a concrete way. This roadmap will be flexible and tailored to your specific needs, and it will serve as a starting point for our journey.
