A Little About Me

My Practice
I believe that mental health is part of holistic health - my approach is integrative, where I have a deep understanding of neuroscience, attachment theory, mindfulness, systemic family, and mind-body practices. I do not just use a single technique or theory because each person brings a unique story shaped by their relationships, culture, and lived experiences. To provide effective sessions tailored to your needs, I assess what each person requires and what works the best for them. I hold space with curiosity, compassion, and cultural sensitivity, helping clients feel safe, seen, and supported as they explore what matters most to them. As a client, you are the driver of your life, whilst I am the passenger that brings light and guide you to the life that you want and deserve. As a fourth-generation Asian immigrant, I understand the challenges that come from intergenerational trauma, obligations, and expectations. I am a licensed therapist with a legal and corporate background, and I work closely with organizations in improving mental health access for employees. Specifically, I deal with trauma, relationships, marriages including managing infidelity and divorces, mood disorders (including anxiety & depression), loss & grief, career & workplace issues, stress & burnout, anger management, life stages challenges.
What I'm Like
I'm a warm, collaborative therapist who believes in creating a space where you can feel safe to be yourself — messy emotions, unanswered questions, and all. I bring a calm and grounded presence to sessions, but I'm also not afraid to laugh with you, challenge you gently, or explore the deeper layers when you're ready. I tailor my approach based on your needs. Some sessions might feel more reflective and exploratory, while others may be more practical and focused, depending on where you are in your journey. I’m here to walk alongside you with curiosity, empathy, and respect, as we make sense of your story together and explore new possibilities for growth. Whether you're navigating complex emotions or just figuring out what you want from life, I aim to make our time together meaningful and empowering.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

You can expect a safe, supportive space where we go at your pace. Some sessions might be more structured if you're working toward specific goals. Other times, our work may be more fluid and reflective, especially when you're figuring out how you feel or what you need. I’ll check in with you regularly to see what’s working and what’s not, and we’ll adjust things together. I’ll always invite you to decide what feels right for you. Whether you're coming in with something specific or just need space to breathe and talk things through, you’re welcome just as you are.

Our first session

In our first session, we'll take time to get to know each other. You don’t need to have everything figured out—just come as you are. I’ll gently ask about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any questions or concerns you might have. It’s also a chance for you to get a feel for how I work and see if it feels like a good fit. We’ll move at a pace that’s comfortable for you, and there’s no pressure to dive deep right away. Whether you're feeling nervous, unsure, or even a little overwhelmed—that's completely okay. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and safe to explore whatever you're carrying.
