A Little About Me

My Practice
In my practice, I embrace a holistic perspective that integrates both top-down and bottom-up approaches to support individuals on their journey towards growth and self-discovery. Drawing from my training in existential analysis, I approach therapy as a dialogical and interpersonal process. I emphasize the importance of existential themes such as authenticity, meaning, freedom, and responsibility, helping clients explore how these elements shape their lives. At the same time, I incorporate insights from various disciplines, including polyvagal theory and somatic practices such as Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE). This blend of approaches allows me to address not only the cognitive and emotional aspects but also the embodied experiences of my clients, recognizing the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit. My core values in my work are authenticity, empathy, and empowerment. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood, enabling them to explore their inner world and uncover their potential. I enjoy working with individuals who are open to self-exploration and growth, whether they are navigating personal challenges, seeking deeper meaning, or working through trauma. I particularly appreciate working with clients who are motivated to engage both their minds and bodies in the healing process, as this opens up richer possibilities for transformation.
What I'm Like
As a psychotherapist, my approach is deeply collaborative and tailored to the needs of each individual. I believe in creating a space where clients feel supported to explore their inner world and discover their strengths. My style blends reflection and insight with practical tools to foster growth and resilience. While I can be serious and focused when the moment calls for it, I also incorporate warmth and light humor when appropriate, helping to build connection and ease during our sessions. I see therapy as a shared journey, where my role is to guide, empower, and walk alongside clients as they navigate their path toward healing and fulfillment.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

Clients can expect a balance of structure and flexibility in my sessions. I tailor each session to the client’s needs, often starting with specific goals or areas they want to address while remaining open to exploration as new insights arise. My approach is conversational and engaging, encouraging clients to share at their own pace. Together, we co-create a plan that feels meaningful and attainable, blending reflective dialogue with actionable strategies. Whether the focus is on immediate challenges or deeper self-discovery, my aim is to provide a supportive and empowering environment where clients feel heard, understood, and equipped to make lasting changes.

Our first session

In the initial session, clients can expect a welcoming and non-judgmental space where we focus on building a strong foundation for our work together. We’ll discuss what brings them to therapy, their goals, and any concerns they might have. I’ll also share a bit about my approach and answer any questions to help them feel at ease. This session is as much about understanding their story as it is about creating a collaborative plan for moving forward. This first session is about building connection and understanding, setting the tone for a collaborative journey where clients feel supported and empowered to explore and grow.
