A Little About Me
My Practice
I offer an eclectic therapeutic approach that is tailored to each client’s unique needs. Rather than following a rigid agenda in every session, I prioritize creating a space of empathetic, consistent presence. I encourage emotional attunement and begin by exploring the client’s intention for the session. Together, we look at the presenting concerns, collaboratively set therapy goals, and determine the methods and approaches that best support the client’s process. This flexible and client-centered style allows for a more meaningful and responsive therapeutic experience.
I am currently enrolled in the Compassionate Inquiry Training Program led by Dr. Gabor Maté. This approach gently uncovers the deeper emotional roots of trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges by fostering a therapeutic space grounded in presence, compassion, and curiosity. Being part of this program is deeply meaningful to me, as it continues to expand my ability to attune to clients with greater sensitivity and depth. It helps me support clients not just in managing symptoms, but in connecting with the underlying emotional patterns and unmet needs that often drive their struggles. Through this work, clients can begin to reconnect with their authentic self, develop deeper self-awareness, and experience more lasting, meaningful change.

What I'm Like
I’m someone who has fought hard for her dreams. The path to where I am today has been filled with challenges, perseverance, and a deep commitment to growth. While I’m proud of what I’ve achieved, I also see myself as a lifelong learner—humble, curious, and constantly seeking ways to deepen my skills. I regularly take part in trainings and stay up to date with research and developments in the field, because I believe therapy is a living practice that evolves with time and knowledge. As a therapist, you can expect someone who listens actively, holds space with empathy, and offers a safe, nonjudgmental environment. Our sessions will include reflection, guidance, thoughtful questions, and at times, gentle challenges to rigid or unhelpful patterns. I deeply value honesty and vulnerability, and I welcome open feedback—including discomfort or criticism—because I believe that’s where real growth can begin.
What Can You Expect From My Sessions
In our sessions, you can expect a thoughtful blend of observation and support. We’ll explore your beliefs, patterns, triggers, and emotional reactions with curiosity and care. I often incorporate psychoeducation to help you better understand what you're experiencing, along with guided questions and reflections to deepen insight. I’ll hold space for difficult emotions while also helping assess symptoms and track progress. You may receive resources to explore on your own, as well as tasks or reflections to carry with you between sessions—tools to help extend the work we do together beyond the therapy room.
Sessions may sometimes include gentle interruptions, especially when it’s important to challenge unhelpful or rigid beliefs that are getting in the way. I place a strong emphasis on the therapeutic alliance and genuine connection. At times, I may share personal reflections or experiences when they feel relevant to your situation—not to shift the focus, but to help you feel seen, understood, and less alone. I deeply believe that therapy is, at its core, a human-to-human connection.
Our first session
I understand that first sessions can feel overwhelming, especially if it’s your first time in therapy. As I mentioned earlier, I don’t follow a rigid agenda—we move at your pace. The most important focus in the beginning is creating a sense of safety. Building trust can take time, and that’s completely okay; it’s something we nurture together as the therapeutic relationship grows. During our first session, you’ll be offered a safe, open space to share what brought you in and what you hope to explore. I’ll also take some time to get to know you better by asking about your background, relationships, hobbies, psychosocial history, family history, and any relevant medical information. You’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have about my practice, training, methods, or anything else that feels important to you. This session is about laying the foundation for a collaborative, supportive journey.
