Testimonials

“Nayla has been a truly supportive and insightful therapist. With her patience, warmth, and deep understanding, she helped me recognize the early signs of anxiety and manage them effectively. EMDR sessions were especially helpful in processing trauma and regaining a sense of control. Life may not be a bed of roses, but thanks to Nayla, I’ve learned how to navigate the thorns with more resilience and self-trust.”

A Little About Me

My Practice
With over 15 years of experience working with diverse populations, my approach is rooted in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep respect for each individual’s unique story. I provide compassionate and personalized psychological support to people navigating a range of emotional and psychological challenges. My professional journey has led me to work closely with children with neurodevelopmental disorders, refugees, humanitarians exposed to war-related trauma, and migrants facing complex trauma. I am fluent in French, English, and Arabic, which allows me to connect with clients across different backgrounds in a meaningful and authentic way. In sessions, I take an integrative and collaborative approach, combining evidence-based methods with EMDR therapy to help clients process their experiences, restore emotional balance, and foster resilience. I value creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard and supported. I particularly enjoy working with individuals who are navigating transitions, trauma, or identity-related challenges, and I am committed to walking alongside them with care, clarity, and compassion.
What I'm Like
As a practitioner, I take a collaborative and compassionate approach. I believe that healing happens in a relationship built on trust, safety, and mutual respect. While I bring my clinical expertise to guide the process, I see you as the expert of your own experience—we work together to make sense of what you’re going through. My style is generally calm and reflective, but I also value authenticity and don’t shy away from using gentle humor when it feels appropriate and supportive. Whether we’re exploring deep emotional patterns or navigating day-to-day challenges, I aim to be present, grounded, and attuned to your pace and needs.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

My sessions are a balance between structure and flexibility, depending on your needs and what feels most helpful to you. We may begin with clear therapeutic goals—especially when working with specific therapy methos like EMDR—or we might take a more open, explorative approach to give space to whatever is present in the moment. I work collaboratively, meaning I value your voice and actively involve you in shaping the direction of our work. Whether we're addressing trauma, navigating emotional challenges, or simply making sense of your experiences, my goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow at your own rhythm.

Our first session

our first session is a safe and supportive space where we’ll begin by getting to know each other. I’ll ask you some questions about your background, current concerns, and what brings you to therapy. This is also a chance for you to share what you hope to gain from our work together and to ask any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. We’ll move at your pace, and there’s no pressure to share anything you’re not ready to discuss. The goal of this initial session is to build trust, establish a connection, and lay the foundation for future sessions in a way that feels comfortable and respectful for you.
