A Little About Me

My Practice
I work with adults navigating life transitions, identity exploration, career struggles, and the anxiety coming with them. I also work with LGBTQ+ clients building a life that actually fits them, often while carrying family or cultural expectations that don't. I hold the belief that we're not one single, unified part walking through life. I give space to get to know the part of you that's exhausted, the part that's still trying to please everyone, and the part that knows exactly what it wants but is terrified to say it out loud. My training in Internal Family Systems and Schema Therapy gives me a way to actually work with those deeper parts instead of just making symptoms go away.
What I'm Like
I am a person who walked the same path myself. I know what it's like to feel like you're at war with yourself; one part pushing you forward, another holding on to what's familiar. I don't see this as something to fix, but rather as protective parts trying to navigate life.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

Early on, we'll get curious together about the different parts of you. We'll get to know what's driving the stuckness, or asking for something to change, the critical voice, and the inner vulnerable part who feels overwhelmed. From there we build toward more internal alignment, not by silencing any part of you, but by helping all of you get on the same page. I like to keep things collaborative. This should make sense to you, not just to me. So I'll check in often, ask what's working and what isn't, and we'll adjust together as we go.

Our first session

Beginning the therapy journey can feel both exciting and daunting. In our first session, we'll mostly just get to know each other. I'll share a bit about my background, how I work, and what you can expect from me, so we're both on the same page from the start. Then I'll ask you to share what brought you to therapy and what you're hoping to get out of it. This is your time to talk about what's going on for you and what you need.
