A Little About Me
My Practice
Having grown up across Lebanon, Canada, and the GCC, I know what it’s like to live between cultures, constantly adapting, translating, and searching for a sense of belonging. That in-between space shaped my identity and continues to guide the way I hold space for others.
I’m a CDA-licensed psychologist with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and years of experience supporting individuals through anxiety, burnout, life transitions, identity struggles, and self-esteem challenges. I’ve worked in hospitals, schools, shelters, and universities, always with the same intention: to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
Whether you’re a student navigating pressure, a professional feeling burnt out, or someone simply trying to reconnect with yourself, I’ll meet you where you are. My approach draws on integrative, evidence-based practices including CBT and DBT, but is always shaped by empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a belief in the power of small, steady steps.
Therapy is a space to be real, messy, and uncertain, and still feel held. I’d be grateful to walk alongside you, wherever you are in your journey.
What I'm Like
I’d describe my style as collaborative, thoughtful, and adaptable. I try to match the energy and needs of the person in front of me. Sometimes that means slowing things down, other times it means being more active or gently challenging. I bring a calm presence, but I also value humour and realness in the room. Therapy with me is a shared space where you don’t have to perform or have it all figured out. We figure it out together.
What Can You Expect From My Sessions
Clients can expect a space that is supportive, respectful, and responsive to their needs. Some sessions may be more structured and goal-focused, especially when we’re working through specific challenges. Others may be more fluid and reflective, depending on what’s coming up in the moment. I check in regularly to make sure we’re aligned, and I encourage open dialogue about what’s working or not. My aim is to build a sense of trust where you feel comfortable showing up as you are, knowing we’ll shape the process together.
Our first session
In our first session, the focus is on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping for, and anything you'd like me to know about your story. There's no pressure to share everything at once. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable, and you're welcome to ask questions about how I work. The goal is to start building a sense of safety and trust so that the process feels collaborative and supportive from the start.
