A Little About Me
My Practice
My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and the belief that healing begins in a safe and understanding space. I see therapy as a collaborative process, one that helps individuals reconnect with themselves, make sense of their emotions, and build a more grounded, meaningful and fulfilling life.
In my sessions, I integrate evidence-based approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and acceptance based practices, while maintaining a flexible, human-centered focus that honors each person’s story and pace. I believe in meeting clients where they are, with curiosity and gentleness, and helping them uncover their strengths and capacities.
My core values as a therapist are empathy, respect, and growth. I deeply value creating a non-judgmental environment where clients feel seen, safe, and supported, especially during moments of vulnerability.
I enjoy working with older adolescents and adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, traumatic events, and self-esteem challenges, as well as those who want to better understand themselves and cultivate self-compassion.
At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy is not about fixing, but about rediscovering, reconnecting and helping you come home to yourself one step at a time.
What I'm Like
In my therapy space, I would describe my style as collaborative, gentle, and attuned. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a shared journey rather than an expert giving directions. I offer guidance and structure when needed, but I also hold space for reflection and emotional exploration at your pace.
While my tone is generally calm and thoughtful, I also bring lightness and warmth into the room when appropriate; sometimes a moment of connection can soften the weight of difficult emotions.
My goal is to create a space that feels safe, authentic, and human, where you can fully be yourself and feel supported in your therapeutic journey.
What Can You Expect From My Sessions
Clients can expect sessions that are personalized, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I like to begin by understanding what brings you to therapy and what feels most important for you right now. Some sessions may be more structured, especially when we’re working toward specific goals or developing coping skills; others are more fluid and explorative, allowing space for reflection and emotional processing.
Our first session
In our first session, I care about getting to know you. My focus isn't just on the challenges that brought you to therapy, but also your story, strengths, and hopes for change. I’ll take time to explain how the process works, answer any questions you may have, and explore what you’d like to gain from therapy. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with; this is simply a space for us to start building trust and understanding.
