A Little About Me
My Practice
I’m a registered counsellor and psychotherapist. I began my journey in psychology in the UK, where I trained and worked across diverse settings, which shaped my inclusive approach to therapy. When working with clients, I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all method. My practice is integrative and grounded. I draw on what works best for you, your unique needs and I make it a priority to hold space for your whole self. I take into account your experiences, relationships, patterns, and the environments that shaped you because no two people, or their stories, are ever the same.
What I'm Like
I show up as myself in sessions, with a great deal of transparency and honesty. If you choose to work with me, you can expect a space where we’ll reflect together, laugh when it’s needed, sit with what’s hard, and challenge the things that keep you stuck.
What Can You Expect From My Sessions
Sessions are paced around you as I don’t come in with a fixed agenda. I would offer suggestions or check in with ideas along the way, but we’ll always explore them together and see what feels right for you. That said, therapy can be challenging, and that’s part of the process too. Sometimes we’ll sit with discomfort or ask hard questions. But we’ll do it together, in a way that feels respectful, steady, and grounded in trust.
Our first session
We’ll start with a bit of light conversation and I’ll walk you through how I work. Then, we’ll begin exploring what brought you here, whether it’s something specific or something harder to name. Sometimes we stick to that one thing, other times we wander a little, and that’s okay too.
Our first session is really about getting a feel for each other, and deciding together if this feels like a good fit.
