A Little About Me

My Practice
I approach my work with a deep belief that we each hold the answers within us - it’s simply a matter of creating the right conditions for those inner truths to emerge. I view mental health as inseparable from physical well-being, time in nature, and meaningful connection with others. With a decade of experience in the wellness field (as a yoga teacher, breathwork coach, and retreat facilitator) I integrate grounding and somatic tools to support the deeper emotional work of transforming the inner landscape. My approach blends compassionate validation with an emphasis on personal responsibility, helping clients feel both supported and empowered.
What I'm Like
Clients often tell me I bring a wide range and strong intuition to our work together. I tend to be collaborative and encouraging, while also honoring the importance of space allowing clients to slow down and feel into their own experience. I view therapy as a relationship that we build together, rooted in trust, attunement, and time. While I can be direct when it’s helpful, my style is generally grounded, thoughtful, and spacious. I aim to meet each person where they are, bringing presence, compassion, and a deep respect for the wisdom within.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

Many clients find their way to me through my background in EMDR or breathwork. Depending on what someone is bringing into the room and where they are in their journey, we may dive into one of these modalities early on, or take time to build the foundation first. Either way, I’m always attuned to what a person’s nervous system is ready for, which can sometimes be a slower pace than the mind might prefer. My sessions are collaborative and responsive, grounded in the present moment. While we may work toward specific goals, the process is often fluid and explorative. I bring structure when it serves the work, but I also leave space for the unfolding of insight, emotion, and embodied awareness. Above all, I aim to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and attuned - where growth happens at a pace that feels both supported and sustainable.

Our first session

The first session for me is about getting to know what brings a client to this work now - at this exact moment in time. Sometimes that involves gathering background information. Other times it's more about understanding the current circumstances in a person's life. Either way, this is also a time (as good as any throughout our relationship) that you can ask me questions.
