A Little About Me

My Practice
My practice is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I view therapy as a collaborative journey between myself and my clients. Together, we work on identifying and shifting unhelpful thoughts, behaviors, and patterns, while also exploring the historical roots that contribute to current struggles. Emotions are central to the healing process, and I hold space for them with care and respect. At the heart of my work is a deep belief in people’s ability to change when they’re met with the right support, understanding, and guidance. I believe that healing starts when a person feels truly seen, heard, and never judged. I strive to be the therapist I once needed. I work with both adolescents and adults, and I’m especially passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can grow, discover their strengths, and move toward their goals. My core values include empathy, compassion, respect, non-judgement, empowerment, presence, and authenticity. These guide every session and every connection I build with my clients.
What I'm Like
As a therapist, I’m warm, grounded, and compassionate. I bring a friendly and supportive presence to my sessions, while also holding space for serious and meaningful work. My style combines thoughtful reflection with practical guidance. I take a directive approach when needed, offering tools, insights, strategies, and structured homework to support meaningful progress and change.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

My sessions are generally structured and goal-oriented, providing a clear path toward change and progress. At the same time, I leave space for exploration, recognizing that meaningful insights often arise through open, reflective conversations. Together, we set specific goals and work step by step, while also allowing room to explore emotions, patterns, and underlying experiences that may emerge along the way.

Our first session

The first session is usually light and focused on building comfort and connection. I’ll begin by getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. I’ll also introduce myself, explain my approach, and walk you through what you can expect from the therapeutic process. It’s a chance for us to start building a foundation of trust and clarity as we move forward together.
