A Little About Me

My Practice
I support my clients to meet life's challenges and appreciate its gifts. Together, you are supported to turn towards what hurts in order to reconnect with a sense of wellness within. I offer a dynamic therapeutic relationship where we dive into this process together. Who I work with: The clients I work with come to therapy for a variety of reasons. They may be struggling with depression, anxiety or low self-esteem. They may feel caught in repetitive, unhelpful patterns or face difficulties in important relationships. Many come to process trauma and move forwards in their lives. For some, an important part of their therapy journey is better understanding their neurodivergence and discovering how they can best support themselves and to grow. I work with individuals from a wide variety of lives and backgrounds, and I have particular experience working with ADHD clients and individuals from the LGBTQA+ community. Sessions take place in-person in London (Kensal Rise or Bounds Green) and online.
What I'm Like
I offer a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic relationship where every part of your experience is welcome. My style is active and sessions are open and unstructured. As a therapist, I value the simple act of sitting down with my clients each week, connecting with them however they are. Over time, I get to witness my clients develop a truer, kinder relationship with themselves. It's incredibly rewarding to journey with someone as this inner change is reflected out into their life.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

I practice holistically: thoughts, emotions and sensations are all noticed and given space. Through this process you will be supported to practice mindfulness, bringing present moment awareness to your experience. This may be as simple as pausing as we talk to notice and name what emotion or physical sensation is here in this moment for you and for us both. By becoming more aware of our present moment experience and our reactions to it - the ways we push away or hold on - we gain greater choice in how we live and in the sort of relationships we have.

Our first session

We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy - your challenges and difficulties, past and present. We'll also explore what feels good, what you'd like more of in your life and how you'd like to grow. We will talk about how we might work together and you'll ask any questions you have and share any hopes and concerns about the process. Through this, we'll each get a feel of whether this is the best approach for you and whether we're a good fit.
