A Little About Me

My Practice
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, but I also take an eclectic approach to ensure therapy is designed specifically for you. I believe that no two individuals are the same, so I draw from various therapeutic models to address your unique concerns and goals. Our work together will focus on developing the tools you need to manage life's challenges, with a focus on meaningful, long-term progress. I create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you can safely explore and reflect on your experiences. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, stress, or emotional challenges, I’m here to guide and support you in achieving greater self-awareness, confidence, and well-being.
What I'm Like
In therapy, I take a collaborative approach—working alongside you to explore challenges and find solutions that feel right. I’m supportive, attentive, and I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable being yourself. I like to create a warm, open environment where we can have real conversations, but I also value using practical tools and techniques to help you make progress. I balance reflection with actionable steps, and together, we’ll work on building skills that can lead to lasting, positive change.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

In each session, you’ll find a blend of structure and flexibility. We’ll often have a general focus or goal to guide us, but I like to remain adaptable to your immediate needs. I’m here to help you gain insight into your experiences while also providing tools and strategies to support your growth. Therapy is a partnership, so we’ll work together to navigate both the reflective and practical aspects of your journey, always at a pace that feels right for you.

Our first session

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask about your current challenges, past experiences, and what brought you to therapy. We’ll explore your goals and what you hope to gain from our work together. This session is a space for you to share your story at your own pace, and I’ll be listening carefully to understand how we can best move forward. We’ll also discuss initial strategies, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, to begin laying the groundwork for lasting change. The session will be structured but relaxed—I’ll guide the conversation and encourage you to share what feels comfortable. Together, we’ll outline a plan that feels meaningful and tailored to you. Most importantly, I want you to feel supported and empowered as you take this first step.
