A Little About Me

My Practice
As a psychologist, my mission is to help you navigate life's difficulties with compassion and resilience. I understand that each individual is unique, so I tailor my approach to fit your specific needs. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and certified in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and I also incorporate strategies from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). My experience spans a wide range of mental health challenges, including trauma, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and more. I also support individuals in building self-confidence, improving relationships, and enhancing communication skills. In our therapy sessions, we will work together to process your emotions, develop psychological flexibility, and build a healthier relationship with your pain. We will challenge maladaptive beliefs and reframe your thoughts, guiding you towards a value-based life filled with meaning and purpose.
What I'm Like
I am very spontaneous, encouraging, and a great listener. I encourage you to show up as your true self while allowing space for difficult feelings to arise and be acknowledged. With your permission, I challenge you and invite you to take perspective, explore your narrative, and help you build a life that you value.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

In my therapy sessions, I work with clients to process their feelings and have a better relationship with their pain, develop psychological flexibility, while keeping room for challenging negative beliefs and reframing their thoughts to lead a value-based life. I would be more than happy to be part of your journey of nourishing your coping skills, self-discovery and self-exploration.

Our first session

In our first session, we’ll take the time to understand what brings you here. We’ll dive into your history, talk about your concerns, and start to identify your goals for therapy (which I call assessment).
