A Little About Me

My Practice
I believe therapy should be a collaborative, compassionate, and empowering process. My approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness-based techniques, tailored to each client’s needs. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with curiosity and self-compassion. Authenticity, Empathy, and Respect are at the heart of my practice. I value deep listening and providing a space where clients feel heard and understood. Growth and healing happen when we can be honest with ourselves, so I encourage self-reflection, resilience, and self-acceptance. My goal is to help clients develop the tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity. I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to explore their inner world and make meaningful changes. This includes: Teens, Adults and Couples struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, self-esteem challenges. I also have a particular interest in working with professionals experiencing burnout and those navigating identity and purpose in their personal or professional lives.
What I'm Like
I take a collaborative and relational approach to therapy, believing that meaningful change happens in a space of trust, mutual respect, and curiosity. While I bring my expertise and clinical insight, I see therapy as a partnership where we work together to uncover patterns, explore emotions, and develop strategies that feel authentic and sustainable for you. My style is warm, engaged, and flexible. I tailor each session to what’s most helpful in the moment. I like to bring in humor when it fits because, let’s be honest, life is messy, and sometimes a little laughter helps. :) At the same time, I can be reflective and gently challenge unhelpful patterns, always with compassion and a focus on growth. My goal is to create a space where you feel both supported and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

My sessions are a mix of structure and flexibility, depending on what works best for you. Some people come in with specific goals, and we create a plan to help them get there. Others need space to explore their thoughts and emotions without a rigid agenda. Either way, I always help guide the process. I’m an active and engaged therapist. I ask questions, offer reflections, and sometimes challenge unhelpful patterns in a way that feels supportive rather than harsh. I bring warmth, curiosity, and even humor into sessions when it fits because therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy. My goal is to create most importantly a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges with more clarity and confidence.

Our first session

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal in the first session is to make sure you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. We’ll start by talking about what’s bringing you in; whether it’s a specific challenge, a general sense that something isn’t working, or just a curiosity about exploring yourself more deeply. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out; this is a space for us to get to know each other and see how we can work together. I’ll ask some questions to get a sense of your background, patterns, and goals, but the session will move at a pace that feels right for you. Some people like to dive right in, while others need time to warm up..that’s totally okay. Most importantly, this session is about making sure you feel safe, supported, and hopeful about the work ahead. Kudos to your courage and I can’t wait to have you on board! :)
