A Little About Me

My Practice
I’m a trauma informed clinical psychologist, a biodecoding counselor, and a psychosomatic therapist. I’ve always been deeply fascinated by the connection between the body and the psyche, which led me to focus my work and research on this powerful link. In our sessions, I bring this mind-body approach to life through practical tools and psychoeducation tailored to your experience. I’m currently completing the professional training in Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté which is an approach that has profoundly shaped my personal healing journey and continues to support meaningful transformation for many of my clients. At the heart of my work is the quality of our relationship. My approach is relational, and I aim to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and met as you are. But here's my mantra: I don’t believe I can “give” you a safe space. The space is already yours. I simply take a step back and allow it to exist. This is a partnership. I don’t have a magic wand to make your pain go away (though I truly wish I did). Healing takes courage, strength, and above all, curiosity. My role is to be your mirror in order to help you see what may be hard to face alone, to gently challenge you and the beliefs that no longer serve you, and to help you connect with your body. And I promise: everything I do is centered around you.
What I'm Like
Compassion, empathy, and humor (when it feels right) are always part of the experience with me. Our work is a space for reflection, and when it serves your healing I offer self-disclosure thoughtfully and intentionally. And because I’m human too, if something ever triggers me during our work, I’ll let you know. I trust you can feel when something’s off, and part of being real with you means offering transparency, paired with the emotional regulation I practice and model.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

I don’t plan sessions in advance, because I believe in showing up with authenticity and presence. I work collaboratively and without a fixed agenda so we follow what feels most alive and important for you in the moment. That said, I won’t hesitate to gently point out patterns of avoidance or resistance when I notice them. I believe that many of our struggles stem from unhealed wounds. That’s why our sessions will often move between exploring your present-day experiences and tracing them back to their emotional roots. We will be meeting those places with compassion together, while doing frequent body check-ins because this is where your trauma is stored. Some sessions might feel intense or heavy, while others will carry a sense of lightness. It’s all part of the rhythm of healing.

Our first session

Our first session is an introduction. There’s no pressure to dive in right away if it doesn’t feel right for you. As I’ve mentioned, I place a lot of value on the quality of our relationship so it’s important that you listen to your gut when choosing a therapist. We’ll begin with some light, open-ended questions to help me get to know you and the rhythm of your life. When you feel ready, you can share your intention for our work together. We’ll end the session by outlining a gentle plan and seeing how you’d like to move forward.
