A Little About Me

My Practice
You deserve an affordable space to talk while feeling accepted and understood without fear of judgement, and that's exactly what you'll get with me. I practice a form of therapy called 'integrative therapy', which means I take approaches from different types of therapies and use whichever ones benefit you most. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy - you're an individual with your own unique experiences, so you deserve an approach to therapy that treats you like an individual. You'll always be the one who gets to decide which approaches you'd like to try and what you get to talk about.
What I'm Like
I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist who believes that real change begins with feeling truly seen and understood. My approach is gentle but active — I don’t just listen, I work alongside you to make sense of what’s happening and help you find your own way forward. I bring together a range of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive, trauma-informed, and relational methods, so that we can shape our work around what feels right for you rather than fitting you into a rigid model. People often tell me they feel safe, accepted, and genuinely cared for in our sessions — able to talk about things they’ve never said out loud before. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, or simply feeling lost, my aim is to offer a space that feels steady, compassionate, and deeply supportive.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

The types of therapies I practice include: Traditional talking therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I deliver my sessions in person, by phone, and online. I've even held sessions via online videogames like Minecraft and Roblox!

Our first session

Your first session is a gentle introduction to therapy and a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you hope to get from our sessions, but there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. Many people come simply knowing they want things to feel different. I’ll explain how I work and answer any questions you have, so you can feel confident about the process. Together, we’ll begin to explore what feels most important to you right now, at a pace that feels safe, and we'll decide together what our sessions will focus on and which therapeutic approach feels most comfortable for you. My aim is to help you leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and a little lighter, with a sense that this is a space where you can begin to make sense of things and start to heal.
